Come to watch the award-winning 2016 documentary, A Bold Peace, about Costa Rica's inspiring path to demilitarization. Learn about the events that shook Costa Rica to its foundations and the decision that led the country to abolish its military. Join in the conversation about the possibilities for demilitarization, disarmament and peace in Canada. A discussion moderated by Tamara Lorincz, VOW member and PhD student at the Balsillie School of International Affairs, will follow the film. This is a free showing, all welcome.
