Conflict Resolution workshop

Conflict is everywhere. This interactive workshop session will explore our response to conflict and provide you with some practical skills and tools to respond, transform and address conflicts at work, at home and within ourselves.

When: Thurs. March 14, 9-4pm
Where: MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning, 50 Queen St., Dartmouth
Cost: $25 for ACIC Members, $50 for non-members. Lunch included

Facilitation:
Stephen Law
is a lead facilitator and mediator with Emerge-International. He has been an Associate Lecturer with St. Francis Xavier University at the Coady Institute where he has taught the Community-Based Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding Course. Stephen is an internationally certified mediation coach in Dialogue for Peaceful Change and has offered training in Northern Ireland, India and North America.  As the Community Capacity Coordinator at Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia, Steve has worked with communities and groups to create welcoming environments and address issues around exclusion and marginalization. As the Social Transformation Program Coordinator at Tatamagouche Centre for 12 years he specialized in designing and developing programs to meet the needs of non-profit and community organizations in Atlantic Canada.  Stephen has offered facilitation services and mediated conflicts in community-based organizations, family structures and cooperative social enterprises and offered programming which builds bridges between groups, communities and organizations.
