Rise and shine! On Sunday, the Global Youth Leaders woke up to a wonderful activity. Isaac tells us they went for an “Early morning hike to the sacred Mayan site Cuy yup.”
We can’t wait to see what they have in store for this coming week!
Stay tuned for more thoughts and photos!
Well, our Global Youth Leaders set off for their adventure to Guatemala last week. Kathleen says they enjoyed a wonderful day, and met a few friends!

Today, ACIC in collaboration with Breaking the Silence, are saying goodbye to four Global Youth Leaders headed to Guatemala. This is an opportunity for Atlantic Canadian youth to visit and learn about international cooperation work through local organizations in Canada and Guatemala.
Participants will film their journey and develop a short documentary and presentation of their experience upon returning home. Upon return to Canada, the youth will participate in a speaking tour, sharing their experiences and perceptions through a presentation and video they will create based on their time in Guatemala.
ACIC will be chronicling their tour with a picture and a thought of the day, so follow our blog to stay in tuned with their journey!
